Blackhawks vs. Flames – Game 1

Last night Nik and I saw one of the greatest hockey playoff games ever. It was game one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Chicago Blackhawks and the Calgary Flames. The Flames took the lead first and it was a pretty close, back and forth game. Down 2-1 with about 6 minutes left in the third period, Martin Havlat scored to tie the game. Regulation would end in a 2-2 tie and to overtime we went. Who knew it would be Martin Havlat that would not only score the winner, but do so 12 seconds into the OT. The United Center erupted like I’ve never heard before and it was awesome. Here are a few pictures from the game:
